Emblems such as the red cross, the crescent moon, or the blue helmets of UN peace keeping forces have special protection under the Geneva convention and other international legal instruments. This BoF explores the problem space in creation and adopting emblems in the digital realm. This work covers multiple disciplines, including international and military (cyber) law, and diplomacy.
