The ability to automatically discover what capabilities certain services can offer has always been important. With the rise of Agentic AI the scale and requirements may change. This BoF will be exploring advanced entity discovery use cases, and building on existing protocols, trust models, and federation architectures, among other topics.

The BoF proponents highlight the relevance of this work themselves: Providing a decentralized and interoperable discovery mechanism is essential to protecting the openness of the Internet and protecting against dominance by a single or a few providers.
